Even at home she wears a mask… A beauty one!

Did you know that men's skin is quite different from women's? Men’s skin is thicker, on average by 20%, compared to women’s, and has a higher concentration of fibers: this makes it significantly denser and more resistant. Furthermore, due to the action of testosterone, which stimulates sebum production up to twice that of women, male skin is generally oilier.
Learn to make the most of these days at home to take care of yourself and your skin!

The secret to perfect skin

Do you remember the pleasant sensations felt during a Barberino’s shave or trim? Do you remember feeling great once the treatment was finished? We’ll let you in on a secret: our trick isn’t the 6 hot towels or the almond soap—it’s the facial scrub!

Exfoliating is a habit you should adopt at home too, because its exfoliating action will eliminate dead skin cells (clogged by the lethal smoke from burgers cooked on the home stove), thus renewing the skin's surface layer.

By doing it at least once a week, by the end of the quarantine your friends will look at you thinking you’ve been locked away for 15 days in a spa! You can create your own DIY facial scrub by mixing two teaspoons of honey and one of sugar: massage your face in circular motions, even under your beard, and then let it sit for 5 minutes. Finally, rinse with lukewarm water.

After the scrub, mask up!

To maximize the effect of the scrub and pamper the “new” layer of skin, you can create DIY beauty masks, taking advantage of the countless properties found in many everyday foods. Masks should be left on for 10 minutes and then gently removed with lukewarm water! Choose the mask that best suits your needs.

Purifying: one teaspoon of whole milk and half a teaspoon of tomato paste

Anti-blemish: one tablespoon of honey and a teaspoon of freshly squeezed lemon juice

Brightening: 1 teaspoon of cocoa; 1 teaspoon of natural plain yogurt and 1 of honey.

Anti-wrinkle: 1 teaspoon of olive oil; 1 teaspoon of yogurt and 1 of honey.

Moisturizing: 3 tablespoons of yogurt; ½ banana and 1 tablespoon of honey.

Discover how to stay young!

If scrubs and masks are rituals to dedicate yourself to once a week, remember to keep your skin hydrated every day. Barberino’s anti-aging moisturizing cream has been designed to make your life easier. Low molecular weight hyaluronic acid, combined with Rice Bran Oil and Coenzyme Q10, gives this cream moisturizing, soothing, and antioxidant properties. Furthermore, the precious Stem Cells obtained from Unripe Grape Berries help protect the skin day after day, giving it tone and firmness. In this way, in addition to counteracting skin aging, the skin is provided with proper nourishment that helps keep it young and elastic.

Two quick tips:

  • Don’t schedule work video calls when you have a mask on!
  • If you’ve run out of Barberino’s anti-aging moisturizer… You can secretly use your wife’s!
